Wow. A huge thanks to the volunteers at Kingfield who did some serious work drumming up visitors for this morning’s first market. They set attendance records and there was this insane flurry when Martin was selling and I was restocking and we just had no idea there would be so many people! Thanks to everyone who came out!
We set a selling-out record of 11AM, I’m not sure if this is a sign of things to come or that everyone was just so excited for this first market. I’m planning on making a lot more stuff next weekend, I figure I’ll just push myself into daring feats of production and see how it goes. I didn’t have the greatest bake last night, there were some foreseeable challenges (like me flying in from a Bread Bakers Guild board of directors meeting in Charlotte and then sleeping for a couple hours and then going in to work) but next week I’ll have my groove on a bit more and should be at the top of my game. We’re so happy the summer has started and can’t wait to see you all next week!
